Optimism in the Fields

As I was walking out of the guesthouse on my usual route to the main road to town, I greeted a guy who was working in the field with the usual good morning. He initially greeted me as well, and as I took a couple of steps to take a picture of some scenery, he yelled over: “Hey, take a picture of me.” So when I turned back to him. he proclaimed “This is my farm! All of this is mine!” and smiled over at me. I chuckled, and continued on my way into town. Read the rest of this entry »
