By mere chance was also looking up an old Sh map put online - and happened to find an Aurore Univ. in the French Concession (as of 1928). I took language courses in Fudan in 99/00, thus also quite familiar with Zhengtong Lu and at least 2 Korean Rest., also the Internet Cafe - last year strolling over the campus I even didn't go there assuming all is torn down. The area changed so much. Still no comparison to Pudong where I live now! Found ur blog searching abt Fudan’s history.
