“How to Break into Hollywood”: 20 April, 7 pm, Chambers 1006

Davidson’s Chinese Department is hosting Hollywood producer and screenwriter Barry Glasser, who will be giving a talk entitled “How to Break into Hollywood” on Tuesday, 20 April, at 7 pm in Chambers 1006.

BARRY GLASSER was publicity director for 20th Century Fox, vice president of publicity for Walt Disney Pictures and senior vice president of marketing for MGM. Credits include Diamond Dogs (2007), Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain (1995), Little Nemo, Adventures in Slumberland (1989), and Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light (1987). Beginning in 2000, Mr. Glasser has been co-producing film and TV programs
with Chinese. He created, produced and served as principal writer for the 26-episode animated fantasy series,
Flutemaster, a groundbreaking coproduction between America and China.Mr. Glasser is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Writers Guild, the Dramatists Guild and the Publicists Guild.
